For the end of the season, every player and family adds a photo from the year and a few words, and the photos become one professionally made thank-you video for the coach. The video above is our real example, made for a mother’s 65th birthday.
Everyone adds photos
How does a team say thank you?
With a video where every player adds a photo and a line. Picture the end-of-season party: the first practice, the rainy away game, the trophy or the near miss, and every player with a few words. Under each photo, the name of the player or parent who sent it.
- End of season
- From the whole team
- Every player

Love you, my dear!
Kate
And here I am!
Leo
Love you, sis!
Lilia
Your newest love!
Tim
All four frames are from our real example, made for a mother’s 65th birthday: 8 people in 3 countries, 19 photos in two days, and not a single recorded clip.
Why a video instead of a gift card?
A gift card says thanks; the video says what the season meant. Coaches give hours of their time, often as volunteers. A video from the team shows them the moments they made possible. Each frame holds the full photo, a few words and a small round portrait of the sender.

- 1A photo from the season. Games, practice, the bus ride.
- 2A round portrait. It shows who sent the photo. It is optional.
- 3A few words. Up to 40 characters, from the player.
Lines that fit the 40-character limit:
“Best coach ever!”
“Thanks for believing in us!”
“Remember the comeback?”
“You made us a team!”
“See you next season!”
“Thanks for every Saturday!”
More ideas are in What to write in a group video message.
Who can add a photo?
Every player, their parents, assistant coaches and former players. Usually a team parent starts it. After adding a photo, each guest is asked who else should be in the video, so former players can join too. Nobody needs an account or an app to take part.

- parents

What if we don’t have good photos?
Phone photos from the sidelines are perfect. Blurry action shots and team selfies make the best frames. The video needs 10 to 30 photos in total, so a team of 15 can add one or two each.
Is there a version for phones?
Yes. You get two videos from the same photos: 16:9 for the TV and 9:16 for phones. Both are made at the same time and included in one price. Play the 16:9 video at the end-of-season party and send the 9:16 version to the coach’s phone.
- 16:9 for the TV. Play it at the party or on a video call.
- 9:16 for phones. It fills the screen. Send it to everyone who took part.
- One price for both. The same photos, words and music in each.
