For a brother’s or sister’s birthday, the family and their friends each add a photo and a few words, and the photos become one professionally made video. The video above is our real example, made for a mother’s 65th birthday.

A frame from the example video: an old black-and-white photo of three women and a boy sitting in the grass, the message “Love you, sis!”, and a round portrait labelled “Photo from Lilia”.

Everyone adds photos

Who knows your sibling better than you?

Everyone together: you, the family and the friends from every chapter. Picture the birthday: the bunk beds, the family road trips, the fights over the front seat, and their friends, partner and kids, each with a photo and a few words.

  • For the birthday
  • Family and friends
  • Since day one
  • A vertical frame from the example video: two women sitting together on a sofa in front of a bookshelf, the message “Love you, my dear!”, and a round portrait labelled “Photo from Kate”.
    Love you, my dear!Kate
  • A vertical frame from the example video: an old black-and-white family portrait of a woman, a small boy and a man, the message “And here I am!”, and a round portrait labelled “Photo from Leo”.
    And here I am!Leo

  • A vertical frame from the example video: a smiling woman in a pink blouse holding a baby in a red Santa suit, the message “Your newest love!”, and a round portrait labelled “Photo from Tim”.

All four frames are from our real example, made for a mother’s 65th birthday: 8 people in 3 countries, 19 photos in two days, and not a single recorded clip.

Why a video instead of a gift card?

Because nothing in a shop has your whole childhood in it. A gift card is easy and forgettable. A video from everyone tells your sibling what they mean to all of you. Each frame holds the full photo, a few words and a small round portrait of the sender.

A frame from the example video with three marks: an old black-and-white photo of three women and a boy sitting in the grass, the message “Love you, sis!”, and a round portrait labelled “Photo from Lilia”.
  1. A photo together. From childhood or last summer.
  2. A round portrait. It shows who sent the photo. It is optional.
  3. A few words. Up to 40 characters, e.g. “Love you, sis!”

Lines that fit the 40-character limit:

  • “Love you, sis!”

  • “Best big brother ever!”

  • “Still owe me that bike!”

  • “Partners in crime!”

  • “Thanks for having my back!”

  • “You were right. Sometimes.”

  • their partner
  • their kids
  • cousins
  • best friends
  • grandparents
  • coworkers

Is there a version for phones?

Yes. You get two videos from the same photos: 16:9 for the TV and 9:16 for phones. Both are made at the same time and included in one price. Play the 16:9 video at the party and send the 9:16 version to their phone.

  • 16:9 for the TV. Play it at the party or on a video call.
  • 9:16 for phones. It fills the screen. Send it to everyone who took part.
  • One price for both. The same photos, words and music in each.

Just photos: no selfie video, no sign-up, about a minute. Know anyone else who should be in it? Pass the link on. Shh, it’s a secret!

Who pays, and how much?

One person pays once, after the free preview: $39 for up to 15 photos or $49 for up to 30. Guests take part for free and never enter a card. Anyone who has the gift link can pay, so friends can chip in among themselves. The TV version, the phone version and the music are all included.

How early should you start?
